About 8 Ball Pool

One rack of eight ball, taking turns. Pot all of your group, solids or stripes, then the eight in the pocket you called. Potting the eight early, in the wrong pocket or with a foul loses the rack, and a foul gives your opponent ball in hand anywhere on the table.

Every shot has a 25 second clock, and a third timeout loses the match.

How to play 8 Ball Pool

  1. AimThe cue follows the mouse, and the wheel or arrow keys fine-tune it. On a phone, drag on the table or tap a ball to aim at it.
  2. ShootPress, pull back and let go: how far you pull sets the power. On a phone, pull down the power bar on the left.
  3. SpinUse the cue ball button to put spin on a shot.
  4. Call the eightWith only the eight left, tap the pocket you are aiming for, then sink it.

Free games cost nothing and pay nothing, and need no sign-up. You wait up to ten seconds for another player, then play a computer player that is labelled as one.

Play for money $0.50 / $1 duels, 21+

Paid duels are $0.50 or $1.00 a side, paid in SOL from your own wallet and shown in dollars, and always against a real person. The winner gets both buy-ins less a 10% house fee ($1.80 from a $1 duel), and the loser loses their buy-in. A draw gives both back, and so does Cancel while nobody has taken your table. Only for players 21 and over, where playing skill games for money is legal. See the terms and responsible play.
